Skagit Blue

Laura Brodax is a ceramic artist. She considers local history, natural surroundings and urban landscapes to customize stories on tile murals and porcelain wares. inspired by traditional ceramic transfer ware, early photographic techniques and nature, she uses photographic imagery and the printed line to bring ideas forward through hand printing glaze on porcelain.

Four painters, Gene Gentry McMahon, Sue Danielson, Robert Hardgrave and David Hytone, embrace the time-honored art of ceramic transfer ware, crafting vessels, platters and objects for the spring’s botanical abundance.
