Rick Leonard Gallery Presents "Breathing Spaces", an exhibition of paintings by Susan Bennerstrom and Christen Mattix. Both painters work at the threshold between inner and outer, seen and unseen realms. Susan's hushed paintings of architectural interiors imply emotional weight through the interplay of light and shadow. Using color and composition, Christen infuses dreamlike portraits and still lives with poetic intensity.
